Where to begin with this self proclaimed "soap opera?" This isn't "As The World Turns." I call it a mess and a flop every week. Pay per view ratings are going down, along with television ratings and rightfully so. Mick Foley now with TNA, has been wrote off programming. After being fired as the network executive by Hogan and Bischoff, they want nothing to do with him, as far as WWE. Guess it's Mick's home away from home. Is he teasing a WWE return? The Miz does need a new assistant after all. Honestly, who cares? Mick's time is done and the only reason he sticks around is for the money. Publicity too of course and maybe a "cheap shot" or two. Seems like one big nightmare that no one can wake up from. Pro wrestlers passing away left and right. Turning off the television half way through WWE’s Monday Night Raw! More like Monday Night Blah. Sometimes falling asleep half way through a match. I mean come on seriously, really. Being a fan for so long and seen something like this happen. Gives a person's stomach an upset feeling. While having to shove it down the throat every week and forced to swallow. Let us start with Raw.
With wrestling taken out of the name completely, there is a good reason for that, because it is not wrestling anymore. It is baby mamma drama. The whole schpele about getting the "F" out. Were obviously Vince and the rest of the head honchos. Looking for a new way out and keeping the fans entertained. Trying to get people to believe every minute of it. Yes, wrestling used to be fun and cool. The Rock says this, and that. Ripping The Coach and Michael Cole a new one every week. Was worth watching on Thursday’s. Monday's too, he was everywhere. Now it is just dull and boring. With time comes change and that's not always a good thing. Josh Matthews does not even know what he is talking about half the time. Who's this person again? Winning the first season of WWE's Tough Enough. Yet, he's an announcer and had maybe one match. Where's the toughness in that? World Wrestling Enter what? The big names are gone or in TNA. The rookies are trying their best, but the only thing Raw has. Is the Miz and John Cena!
Come on! Seen the same person on the same show for 6 years. I'm no creative writer, but it seems to lack creativity. Let's send him to Smackdown at the beginning of the show. Then later on, we'll just put him back on Raw. Just because Raw would be worse then it already is, without John Cena. What a waste of a draft and everyone's time. Same shirt, different color. Each week you can’t see this. Obviously, we can see you John its live television. The Rock said it best "A blind Charles ray, sitting in the basement with the lights out." Can see you. Hardly a catch phrase, more of an oxymoron. I will leave the thinking up to the "pros." With "Big Sexy" Kevin Nash and HHH running things backstage. You would think that the business would get better. A new series of "Tough Enough" which probably gets more ratings then Raw. I hope that whoever wins this year's "Tough Enough" will make an impact! Instead of falling into obscurity like Josh Matthews. HHH had one match and that's probably the last we'll see of him for a while. Oz vs. The Great Khali anyone? I would watch the entire episode of Raw, just for that one match. Talk about ratings. Possibly Kevin's last run, but we haven't seen him since the Royal Rumble.

With most of the stuff being PG. A lot of the older generation has stopped watching all together. The WWE has also toned down not only the violence, but the script as well. One example is R-Truth, obviously has run out of ideas. Who seems to be getting more childish each and every week. Much like the show that he works for. With the WWE, re-writing most of the storylines that were suppose to end months ago. Won't give you pay per view buys. Yet ratings are still declining not only for the weekly televison shows. The pay per view buy's as a whole have been down for the past few years. Even with all this change. What does that show you? There's not a whole lot too look forward to with the WWE. With Summer Slam right around the corner. Now is the time to build feuds. Which is what we're seen on Raw with R-Truth and John Cena. Possibly a rival between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton? Who doesn’t want to see that with their history? Only time will tell.
Smack down ratings also went down last week. Is Randy Orton really a true top tier headliner? If he cannot carry a television show on a weekly basis. How is he going to carry the title? With a new number one contender crowned. Well he's not really a "new" number one contender. Orton vs. Shamus, again?! Talk about frustration. Another repeated rival continued from Raw months before. What more can they really do? Another month of WWE programming down the drain. Not much has really changed. John Cena vs. The Miz, Lawlyer vs. Michael Cole. Kharma doing one move then leaving right away. Thought the WWE Draft was all about "shaking thing's up again." Fresh feuds maybe a new face or two. Does anyone really even care what World Wrestling Entertainment is doing right now? As opposed to last year at this time. The fan intrigue has gone down and the shows seem to lack creativity. Summer is here, but where's the entertainment?
