Who's The Fool Now?!

It's hard to keep up with TNA's Impact Wrestling these days, with all the storylines thrown out and the new ones being made up. Not to mention the ones that they have seemed to forgotten. For example the Samoa Joe abduction: Whatever happened? Who kidnapped him? Who knows, let's start with Mr. Anderson. For the past few months Hulk Hogan has wanted Ken Anderson to be a part of Immortal. For months Mr. Anderson rejected Hulk Hogan's reluctant cries for Anderson to jump ship. It seemed at time that he would go over to the "other" side and possibly turn heel. Everyone knows that Mr. Anderson has gone from good guy, to bad guy, to asshole. Then back to just another bad guy again when he was issued an ultimatum July 7th, on Impact. Bully Ray lets Anderson know that he's either with them or against them. Then hands the microphone around to Gunner and Scott Steiner, which was a complete waste of time. Then all of a sudden the lights go out in the Impact zone! Sting's music hits, but as the lights come back on Kurt Angle is standing in the ring. Laying out every member of Immortal and having a stare down with the TNA World Heavyweight champion.

Rob Van Dam ends up pulling off a victory over Jerry Lynn, AJ Styles, and Christopher Daniels! Quite the match to be show cased and I say lived up the hype. With all four men having matches at Destination X it seemed to be the thing to do. Jerry Lynn nailed the Kryptonite Krunch on Daniels and Rob Van Dam would come off the top rope with the 5 Star Frog Splash for the win. Backstage Hogan attacks Sting with the baseball bat bringing him down to his knees. The past few weeks seem to only get crazier for Sting. With Hulk Hogan finally snapped and embarrassed for the last time. It was only a matter of time before Hogan took matters into his own hands, but this seems to be what Sting desires. Is he trying to mentally break down Hogan? Or is Sting the one with the mental break down? The main event was supposed to be Sting and Kurt Angle vs. all of Immortal. Which are only four people Bully Ray, Steiner, Gunner, and Abyss. Sting never shows up because of the attack, leaving Kurt to defend for himself. Mr. Anderson comes down and appears to help Angle out by posting up in his corner. Kurt tags in Mr. Anderson and eventually all members of Immortal get a beating. Pulling the wool over everyone's eyes, Anderson goes for a Mic Check on Bully Ray. Then stopped, turned around and hits Angle with it instead. Leaving Immortal with the victory and Hogan to come out and cheer on the newest member of Immortal. Good for Mr. Anderson, we'll see how long that title stays on his shoulders.

Crimson who remains undefeated and looks to be an unstoppable force to be reckoned with. He's also been at or near the top of the Bound for Glory tournament board. Proving that TNA is looking pretty bright for this young man's future. Then we have the maniacal monster Abyss, who has lost his mask. Not really lost, because Brian Kendrick is shown wearing the mask of Abyss. The two men end up in the ring as Abyss comes out draped in a towel. Brian cuts a cryptic promo about how and why Abyss wears his mask. Which obviously at this point the only thing Abyss wants is his mask back. After a few more heart felt words Kendrick hands over the mask to Abyss. Kendrick doesn't want violence and only wanted to talk, but everyone knew that wasn't going to happen. Abyss gives Kendrick the Shock Treatment following up with a Black Hole Slam. The rest of the X-Division comes down to save the day, but not in time as Kendrick lay lifeless.

Speaking of the X-Division all I can say is wow. The past few weeks we have seen quite some interesting matches. I have to mention Jack Evans who defeated two other men with his devastating 630 splash. For those of you wondering that is correct I said 630 SPLASH! No one in wrestling today can pull that off, maybe, but as of now its Jack Evans. Two full rotations anymore crazy and this guy would be insane. Coming from an AAA federation where he holds two titles. I would say he gave up a whole lot to compete on Impact Wrestling. With his background in break dancing and various other wrestling styles, he appears to be a big threat to the X-Division. Although he didn't win at Destination X I believe that TNA will sign him along with a couple other former TNA stars. The final four fighting for a contract were Jack Evans vs. Low Ki vs. Zema Ion (Shiima Xion) vs. Austin Aries. The winner and newest member to the TNA roster is Austin Aries.

All four men put on quite possibly the best match at the pay per view. Rob Van Dam defeating Jerry Lynn also another exciting match. Alex Shelley is the new number one contender for the X-Division title. That Brian Kendrick now holds thanks to all his fellow friends. The match ends in a brawl with Earl Hebner knocked down outside the ring. As we all know Earl is a little slow in his old age and didn't see the 20 plus bodies in the ring, prior to the pin fall. Everyone else did though as Immortal and the rest of the X-Division clears out in time for Kendrick to get the pin fall. In what were nearly a half hour match and the next best thing, AJ Styles proved to be the better man. Defeating longtime friend and at points in time his enemy Christopher Daniels. Mr. Anderson and Sting are set up for a title match this week on Impact! What will the aftermath be this week? Tune in or be tuned out!
