TNA - Who Turned Out The Lights?!

The night began with an awful stench in the air. The stench of cheap tuxedos and Immortal members wearing them to the ring, fill the Impact Zone. All in the celebration of Mr. Anderson joining the group and stacking the deck against Sting. A poker table rests in the middle of the ring as the member of Immortal pile in. Hulk Hogan along with Bischoff goes back and forth discussing how great Mr. Anderson is, then all of a sudden, the lights go out come back on and Sting is sitting in front of the poker table. Sting asks who Bischoff would bet on winning the world title. Sting goes off on his insane joker gimmick rampage. Anyways, the Stinger officially loses his mind and the lights go out again. The members of Immortal look up and more clown looking guys stand looking down upon the Impact Zone. Sting flips the table over before the lights turn out and he vanishes. Beginning to look a lot more and more like a Batman movie instead of "wrestling."

The night kicks off fairly well and it seems the fans are getting into the whole scenario surrounding Bound for Glory. The last three men at the bottom of the Bound for Glory series bracket face off to try and gain some points. Samoa Joe, The Pope, and Bobby Roode face off in a triple threat match. Why TNA has chosen to have Samoa Joe loose each and every week, is a mystery. One of the most dominant men in Sports Entertainment loosing each and every week is only making him look weak. The Pope knocked down to the outside allows Joe to lock on the Kokina Clutch on Roode, but Roode flips over Joe using the turnbuckle. Kind of like Bret Hart used to do in all his old matches. Roode at this point at Joe covered, but the position he is in Earl Hebner can't see Roode tapping out. Earl just saw Joe's shoulders down and counts the one, two, and three, which gives Roode the seven points for the win. Joe ends up throwing a fit and rightfully so, because Earl didn't see Roode tapping out. Referees come down to stop Earl from beating up Samoa Joe. Laugh out loud, yah right as if that would ever happen.

The newest X-Division on the roster, Austin Aries made quite the splash during his debut. The guy who's a poet and we don't know it. Austin defeated Shannon Moore in what many believe was a fluke. None the less Austin Aries manages to get the win. In what started out and ended in a decent match. Many speculate that things could have gone better. Austin uses the chain from book of Dilligaf to level Shannon Moore. Connecting with Shannon's skull, Austin pulls off slingshot corkscrew splash, which was pretty amazing. Covering Shannon to get his first win in Total Nonstop Action. As far as the knockouts are concerned it seems that they're on the show one week and then almost forgotten the next week. With only one match which showcased Tara vs. Madison Rayne in all their glory. Tara brings forth a present, but won't give it to Madison until the end of the match. Madison can't wait till the end of the match and throws Tara out, going directly for the present. Madison opens it and reveals Poison, Tara's pet spider. Madison screams in terror and Tara hits the Widow's Peak for the victory.

Now, onto the more important things, which always seem to be during the end of the show. Kurt Angle comes down to the ring with a microphone in hand. The fans get off their feet for the first time, except for the ones in front of course. Kurt talks about how he defeated Jeff Jarrett at Slammiversary and he's the number one contender for the world title. Angle goes on to say that he wants to fight Anderson whether the title is on the line or not. Angle goes on to say that he's never beaten Sting in all their encounters. The main event was to the brink of insanity to say the least. Sting's little minion clowns had been taking out members of Immortal all night long. Which were, obviously Fortune Four. Leaving the main event, pretty much one on one. The match goes on to be one for the books as both men try to end the match with each other's finishing moves. To no avail as the match continues on the referee gets knocked out, of course. This cues Bully Ray to come down and orders Mr. Anderson to hold up Sting, but not before the lights go out. When they come back on another clown stands in the ring and takes out Bully Ray and Anderson. Again! With the lights, they can simply just show the superstars getting out of the ring. No need to turn the lights out every time we all know what you’re doing. Sting hits the Death Drop on Anderson to get the win and crown yet again a new TNA World Heavyweight Champion. Seems that Mr. Anderson has dropped the ball yet again. Barely able to hold onto the prestigious title for more than a month what is next for him? Who's afraid of the big black bat?! Hogan.
