Rated CM Punk
The big issue going on today is CM Punk. What's on his mind? Where's he going? Nobody really seems to know except for Punk, but it does make for interesting television. The past few weeks have been nothing but awesome. However, some sadness in the air, if CM Punk really leaves, then it doesn't leave much room for Raw to play with. Vince McMahon said last Monday that if John Cena loses. He will not only loose the title, but his job as well. That would only cause the company a lot of money and ratings. My guess is that CM Punk will indeed be leaving the company as of July 17th 2011. CM Punk was reinstated back onto the show, even if it is for only one more night on Raw. Some have said he has gone way too far. Others believe that he is just speaking his mind and whatever the decision is. All I have to say is it's about time. Someone had to put John Cena and the rest of WWE in check. The only difference is that CM Punk has chosen to do it on live television. Making the PG rating that WWE tries to stand by so much, seem not so PG. Not to mention John Cena drinking a couple cold ones with Stone Cold weeks prior. I would say the little Jimmies have some great role models. Back to the matter at hand, which is where does CM Punk go from here? What is the WWE going to do about it? So many questions and no answers.
With Smackdown and Raw competing to see who's the best. Even though that half the Superstars from each show. End up making an appearance or two on the "enemies" territory. The split brand thing is getting a little ridiculous, seeing as how it's all wrestling anyways. Smackdown doesn't even compare to Monday night Raw's in the rating's division. So why not just make it all one big fiasco again? In other interesting news, Alex Riley reigns victorious over The Miz, once again. Showing his dominance in the ring and proving that he can hang with the best. Miz of course attacks Riley after the match and the two end up in a brawl on the outside of the ring. The Miz eventually gets the upper hand and talk’s trash to Riley about how he's made him. Later on in the evening John Cena comes out to the ring and Vince McMahon is convinced of two things. That the only reason he suspended CM Punk was because he didn't want to take a chance on John Cena. The other being that Vince takes calculated risks.

This of course has upset a lot of people who believe that Cena's right and Punk's wrong. You can almost guarantee that Punk will be on Raw next week and that things are only going to heat up more. With it being the beginning of July all I have to say is it's about time! CM Punk has made waves of comments regarding his thoughts on John Cena and the WWE. Having a verbal battle back and forth with a fan at a past house show. Calling the Australian native a homo and among other things. These are a few of the following words WWE has said in the past couple days: "It's a weird situation. WWE realizes Punk's promo was the proverbial lightning in a bottle, but the company is very protective when it comes to public image right now, as evidenced by the fact they made (John) Cena apologize, Michael Cole go to sensitivity classes, and even fired Fit Finlay for a public relations mishap at a live event!"
As far as Smackdown is concerned they're not doing too shabby and really the only big thing. Is the fact that Christian has asked Randy Orton for one more title match. Let's start with the first match which showcases Sin Cara's amazing talents. The Mark Henry and Big Show segment gets dragged out a little more. Mark attacks the Big Show, backstage of course and of no surprise to the fans. We get it Mark, you’re a big guy, and Big Show's even bigger. Stop attacking him and let these two mammoths go at it and maybe show a boost in interest. The Christian vs. Kane match was pretty good with a lot of near falls. The match failed to be great as Mark Henry runs down and clubs Kane, causing the referee to ring the bell. Christian at this point is irate because he just lost his last opportunity at the champion Randy Orton. Have no fear, Teddy Long is here. Teddy runs down to save the day and offers Christian a chance to redeem himself. Making the next match tag teams match featuring: Christian and Mark Henry vs. Kane and Randy Orton. The fans lose their little Jimmy hats and the match gets under way.
If Christian's team win's, then Christian will receive another title shot. The match turned out to be nothing short of spectacular, but not according to the fans. Mark Henry ends up covering the WWE Champion Randy Orton. This in turn grants Christian his shot at Money in the Bank. The crowd boo's as the show goes off the air and the Money in the Bank pay per view card, fills up a little bit more. This looks like to be a big hit with the summer’s tough crowd. Hold on! The live Smackdown show only ended for the live television audience. For the people attending the show at the arena, Teddy Long comes back out to dance a jig. Telling the crowd that Christian would be receiving his title rematch NOW! In a street fight! The match didn't last too long and of course Randy Orton came out victorious. After hitting three RKO's one on Mark Henry, one on Christian, and one on Sheamus who decided to interfere. Randy Orton parades around, because he knows that he's Smackdown's hottest thing going this summer. I'm sure Christian won't be too happy about this and along with CM Punk. No one can really predict what's going to happen, except for on Smackdown of course. This is taped, edited, and then viewed for our PG discretion. Leaving everyone to actually wonder what's going to happen next week on wrestling. Tune in, or tune out.
